Our current dogs are Ch Firebush Dizzy Miz Lizzy (Dizzy), Ch Firebush Let It Be (Maya), Ch Explicit The Fame Game (imported Sweden) Ch Firebush Billie Piper (Billie), Firebush The Wicked Truth, Hawksdale Heart of Fire and Ch Kellick Midnight Ticket ToRide. Dizzy and Maya's litter brother Pepper has been very successful in the show ring, obedience and in the field. He was the first and only flatcoat in NZ to attain the title of NZ Grand Ch. He then returned to Australia to complete his Supreme Ch title. Pepper is now known as MBIS MBISS NZ Grand Ch and Sup Ch Firebush Sergeant Pepper CD RRD NRA.
Sadly, we recently lost our beloved Grand Champion Bushman The Deputy to suspected snake bite (September 2008), Ch Bushman Live and Learn (Harry), to bloat (May 2009), and Grand Ch Bushman Dancing Queen (Abbi) in September 2010. Deputy will live on with us through his lovely daughters Dizzy and Maya and we are lucky to have frozen semen from Harry which we used in March 2011 with Maya. We still have four vials stored for future use. Harry's liver son Wicked gained his Australian Ch title and his sister NZ Ch Firebush Black Magic gained her NZ show title. Another sister Gracie has been very successful in retrieving and working trials.
We are indebted to Bushman Kennels for our foundation stock and our other lovely Bushman dogs.
Ch Explicit The Fame Game or Gimmick as he is known, arrived in Australia on Thursday 16 July 2009 and came home to us on 15 August 2009 after his 30 days of quarantine. He is a super looking young dog with a sweet and confident temperament. Our thanks to Mathilda Luckner of Explicit Kennels for the work she has put in to raise and socialise this lovely boy.
In 2013 our home was blessed with the addition of Pandora, Hawksdale Heart of Fire, and Tilly, Ch Kellick Midnight Ticket ToRide.
